The base kit comes with a top and bottom to the bookshelf, as well as 3 shelves containing 20 books each - so with the base kit you can track 60 books. There are also some little trinkets to fill the shelf gaps in your bookshelf, including: phrenology head, two potted plants, A and Z bookends, a globe, and a photo frame. Every shelf, including add-on shelves, are 4.094 inches in width. 

The add-on options available include:

• Standard height shelf with 25 books
• Standard height shelf with 30 books
• Large height shelf with 16 books
• Large height shelf with 18 books

You can mix and match any shelf combination that you want, to build your very own bookshelf that suits your needs - putting your perfect reading journal together shelf by shelf!

Standard sizes shelves are 0.74 inches in height and large shelves are 0.90 inches in height.
